Candle Care Guide
Proper candle care is essential to ensure your candles last longer and burn better. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your candles:
Trim the Wick: Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm). This helps ensure a cleaner burn, reduces soot, and prevents the formation of a “mushroom” top on the wick.
Burn Long Enough: When you light your candle, allow it to burn long enough for the entire top layer of wax to melt all the way to the edge. This creates an even pool of wax, maximizing fragrance distribution and candle longevity.
Use a Snuffer: To extinguish the flame, use a snuffer rather than blowing it out. Snuffers put out the flame without creating smoke or hot wax splatter, preserving the candle’s quality.
Avoid Drafts: Keep your candle away from drafts. Drafts can cause uneven burning and may result in the candle burning out too quickly.
Store Properly: Store your candles in a cool, dark place. Heat and light can degrade the wax and scent, reducing overall quality and longevity.

Limit Burn Time: Don’t burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for too long can cause the wick to become unstable and the candle to overheat, posing potential hazards.
